Inspired and designed from endurance and GT racing in Japan, HKS developed its Hi-Power Exhaust system for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated applications. HKS has incorporated this new race inspired offset muffler and piping design into many street applications, which offers a greater flow and higher-PRM power gains due to the less restrictive design. This is achieved by eliminating unnecessary bends for the straightest exhaust path.

For turbocharged applications, the large and smooth exhaust flow allows greater exhaust velocity for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power. Naturally aspirated vehicles also benefit from greater exhaust flow capacity as engine tuning levels increase. Certain applications are available in a Silent Hi-Power version which has an inner silencer built into the muffler. Like Drager Exhaust systems, Hi-Power Exhaust systems are made from SUS304 stainless steel muffler and tip assemblies. Depending on the application, Hi-Power muffler tips are 96mm, 115mm and 120mm in diameter, piping diameter ranges from 55mm to 95mm. Special Edition HKS Carbon Titanium Hi-Power Exhaust systems are exclusively available for certain popular applications. These exclusive versions of the Hi-Power Exhaust consist of a carbon fiber wrapped muffler shell, titanium tip, and polished SUS304 stainless steel piping.

Legamax and Sport Exhaust Systems are designed to reduce backpressure and increase exhaust flow for greater peak power and a broader torque band. Each Legamax and Sport Exhaust application utilizes a specific muffler design and shape along with the appropriate piping diameter to maintain low-end torque while maximizing high-end horsepower. All Legamax systems are made from polished SUS304 stainless steel piping.

TurboXS RX8 Cat-Back is a high performance 304 Stainless steel solution providing increased flow without the annoying drone associated with performance exhaust systems. This is due to the Tuned chambers and vehicle specific muffler materials. Exhaust gases exit through dual 4.0 inch tips to unleash the beast within on your RX-8.

The TurboXS RX8 High Flow Cat is a great alternative to running a completely catless exhaust. They use a 200 cell metal matrix cat for high exhaust flow and to compliment the exhaust tone with add a resonator to help lower the exhaust noise and keep the db levels down while maintaining high exhaust gas velocity. Perfect when combined with the TurboXS exhaust system. Special order item.

Used to fasten exhaust manifold/headers TO the engine. High-heat, premium copper clad, exhaust manifold/header to engine block lock nut. These are the same nuts found in the Himni Racing V2 turbos kits. Top lock design holds strong under the most demanding rotary engine conditions but is not prone to seizing like standard stock steel nuts. They hold strong & remove smoothly. They will keep your housing studs in tack for years to come. Busted, removed, stripped or seized studs & housing threads are no longer an issue. Price is per nut. Minimum order quantity is 4.
