Note:: V-Band sizes are determined by the size of downpipe/ tube side of the flange & not the face/sealing side. Though the tube side often dictates face side sizing, there are variations between the two depending on the flange. Meaning, not all "3.00 v-band flanges" have the same face/sealing side. V-band flanges are most commonly used to connect an exhaust downpipe to a turbocharger turbine housing discharge/outlet, they are also the ideal choice for turbo compressor cover connection, intercooler/charge tube & exhaust pipe 'butt' connections. Note: #1 We are seeing the stock oil cooler lines fail more & more these days. If yours haven't let out yet, upgrade the right way before it's too late. The stock lines almost always blow out without warning, thus causing pressure drop as all the oil is dumped from the engine quite quickly. It is not recommended to just replace your failed lines with another used set of old factory lines that will no doubt fail prematurely. We have heard of & seen too many engines destroyed by junk-yard oil cool lines.

#2: With the SS flex bellow option, it relieves the stress put on the turbo, exhaust manifold, exhaust system, etc. when the engine moves in the bay due to hard launching & normal driving. It "eats" the shock & reduces part stress. Also allows for easier realignment when the downpipe is removed, then reinstalled. The flex bellow option is usually not necessary when using the Himni Racing solid Aluminum or Polyurethane motor mounts, as the mounts stop the engine movement.
